About Rose Garden Estates

Rose Garden Estates is an assisted living facility with a very personal touch and a solid reputation of serving folks in Ritzville for over 10 years. We simply don't know of another place where you'll get the attention and services that we give our residents. Your friends are here!

We offer spacious private apartments with your own private bathroom. Some with kitchenettes and showers and your own separate outside entry door if desired. You bring your own furniture and your own belongings to make your apartment your home. Hang as many pictures as you like! Our homecooked food is known area wide and tailored for your unique needs, likes and dislikes.

Our staff consists of an RN, ten trained and certified caregivers, four cooks, housekeeper, maintenance, activity coordinators and management. Most of the staff have been here for five years or more ... they enjoy being here and love sharing their lives with folks whom they treat as they would their own parents or grandparents.

What is Assisted Living?

Assisted living is a special combination of housing and personalized services. It is designed for those who require help with activites of daily living and may have some health care needs. Residents in an assisted living residence usually do not require the skilled nursing provided in a nursing home ... but they may need help with such things as bathing, dressing, hygiene, diet, medication management, and housekeeping. Assistance is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as needed, in a way that promotes maximum independence and dignity for each resident.

Each resident's individual personal care needs are identified and a service plan is designed to meet those needs. This plan can be modified as needed. Residents are encouraged to do as much for themselves as they safely can. Service is based on a social model with their doctor's input, rather than a medical model of care, thus giving the resident and family complete choice based on individual needs. Residents pay only for the assistance they actually need.
